Clint is a Polestar Pilates trained Pilates instructor in both Mat and Rehabilitation. He has been involved in various high level sports his whole life, including national level swimming and representative football in Victoria. He achieved numerous regional and state (Victoria) gold medals and was a national age finalist in freestyle. He turned to Pilates to help with rehabilitation after sustaining injuries from football and to improve his overall mobility and core strength.
After seeing and feeling the benefits that Pilates offered he decided to undertake Pilates teacher training himself. His interest in health and the human body didn’t stop there, deciding to further his knowledge and skills by simultaneously undertaking a Masters degree in Osteopathy. Clint has recently graduated as a Doctor of Osteopathy from Southern Cross University and enjoys combining Pilates and Osteopathy in his practice.
Osteopathy and Pilates share a somewhat similar philosophy, as they both focus on whole body health believing that each region and system contributes equally to the overall system. Along with this philosophy, Clint views the presence of injury or dysfunction in one part of the body as having the ability to impact other regions or structures, therefore requiring a whole body approach to rehab and treatment.
Clint has a passion for helping, teaching, educating and guiding people in not just Pilates but with their overall health and wellbeing. Clint's belief is that each individual has unique strengths, characteristics and challenges within their own body and therefore should be catered for accordingly. Clint prides himself on bringing fun, energy and professionalism to every session.
