Pilates Private and Semi-private sessions:
Pilates sessions can be either one on one (private) or in a small group of four clients (semi-private) per instructor. Seeing a Physiotherapist may be more appropriate when acute or sub-acute conditions exist, so that your session can be more rehabilitation focused, whereas Pilates with a Pilates Instructor is generally more wellness focused.
Both Private and Semi-private sessions are by appointment only and all programs are all individually tailored to your needs. If you are unsure what session to book into, please contact us by phone or email.
Pilates Reformer Classes:
Pilates Reformer classes are designed for generally healthy and fit individuals. The Pilates Reformer machine gives you a unique full-body conditioning workout designed to stretch, strengthen and tone, using springs as resistance. These classes offer an upbeat dynamic group workout covering a range of traditional and evolved Pilates repertoire on the Reformer. Joseph Pilates designed the Reformer to help accelerate the process of stretching, strengthening, body alignment and increased core strength started by the Mat work. The best-known and most popular piece today, the Reformer, was originally called the Universal Reformer, aptly named for "universally reforming the body.”
If you have no Pilates experience prior to joining a Reformer class, a private session will be required to familiarise yourself with the basic principles of movement, as well as the machine.
